Si la proclamacion de la Iglesia ha de tener un contenido cristiano autentico, tiene que referirse constantemente al Cristo encarnado, crucificado, resucitado, ascendido y que retorna.  Tenemos que constantemente referirnos a Aquel quien dijo "Yo soy la Resurreccion y La Vida, "El Buen Pastor", "La Puerta Abierta" y el "Alpha y el Omega".

Toda persona que ha hecho un analisis de nuestra situacion humana presente coincide en afirmar que el mundo esta en una situacion critica; en el umbral de una epoca de avance tecnologico que nos puede ayudar a resolver problemas que hasta la fecha aparentan ser desastrosos, o nos empuja al borde de un precipicio que nos llevaria al tragico fin de la humanidad.  De cualquier manera, el globo terrestre parece haber llegado al momento mas critico de su desarrollo, a un punto de cambio donde nuestras decisiones pueden llevar a una transformacion o a una mutacion determinante.

 

Hoy nos enfrentamos no solamente a fronteras geograficas que dividen nuestras naciones, pero tambien fronteras intelectuales, tecnologicas, espirituales, culturales, y economicas que dividen nuestros pueblos.  Estas fronteras, mas todavia que las fronteras geograficas pueden ser lugares de division, conflicto, y separacion. Pero tambien pueden ser lugares de intercambio, representando la vanguardia de la tarea teologica y mision cristiana.

If the Church's proclamation is to have authentic Christian content, it must constantly refer to the incarnate, crucified, risen, ascended, and returning Christ. We have to constantly refer to the One who said "I am the Resurrection and the Life," The Good Shepherd "," The Open Door "and the "Alpha and Omega ".

Every person who has made an analysis of our present human situation agrees that the world is in a critical situation; on the threshold of an era of technological advancement that can help us solve problems that to date appear to be disastrous, or push us to the edge of a precipice that would lead us to the tragic end of humanity. In any case, the terrestrial globe seems to have reached the most critical moment of its development, a point of change where our decisions can lead to a transformation or a decisive mutation.

Today we face not only geographic borders that divide our nations, but also intellectual, technological, spiritual, cultural, and economic borders that divide our peoples. These borders, even more than geographic borders, can be places of division, conflict, and separation. But they can also be places of exchange, representing the vanguard of the theological task and Christian mission.
